Featuring the technology to seamlessly switch between an electric motor and a petrol engine, Jaguar plug-in electric hybrid (PHEVs) deliver the best of both worlds.
HOW DO ELECTRIC HYBRIDS WORK?
A petrol engine and electric motor combine to give you optimum performance and efficiency. Driving in full Electric Vehicle (EV) mode or combining it with petrol in Hybrid mode is completely up to you. In full Electric Vehicle (EV) mode, the battery can be charged by external power sources and regenerative braking.
WHAT MAKES THEM EASY TO LIVE WITH?
The battery in a Jaguar electric hybrid is able to deliver up to 37 miles/60 km (Jaguar E‑PACE)* and up to 33 miles/53 km (Jaguar F‑PACE)* of range from a single charge. This makes it perfect for daily commutes with zero tailpipe emissions when in full Electric Vehicle (EV) mode. It can easily be recharged overnight using a home charger or domestic plug socket, and with the ever-growing network of public charging points.
WHAT ARE THEY LIKE TO DRIVE?
An electric hybrid is virtually silent in full Electric Vehicle (EV) mode, and for optimal refinement, ensures a seamless transition when switching back to the engine. With the use of Hybrid mode – combining the electric motor and the engine – performance is precise and uncompromising, boosting power for smooth and spirited acceleration.
HOW DO I CHARGE AN ELECTRIC HYBRID (PHEV)?
Electric hybrids can be charged using a professionally installed home charger, a domestic socket, and at many public charging locations such as gyms, shopping centres and motorway services.
CHARGING SPEEDS AT HOME1
7 kW AC home chargers: 100% charge from 2 hours 12 minutes for Jaguar E‑PACE electric hybrid / 100% charge from 2 hours 30 minutes for Jaguar F‑PACE electric hybrid
3-pin domestic sockets: 100% charge from 6 hours 42 minutes for Jaguar E‑PACE electric hybrid / 100% charge from 8 hours for Jaguar F‑PACE electric hybrid

HOW MUCH IS CHARGING AT HOME VS. REFUELLING?
COST OF ELECTRICITY PER MILE
COST OF FUEL PER MILE
COST SAVINGS PER YEAR
COST SAVINGS OVER 3 YEARS
Based on driving Jaguar E-PACE electric hybrid 10,000 miles per annum, driving 50% in full Electric Vehicle (EV) mode. Savings are for illustration purposes only and are based on average UK fuel price and average UK electricity price. Savings correct at time of publication.
WHAT AFFECTS THE DISTANCE I CAN DRIVE?
In full Electric Vehicle (EV) mode, your battery is the single source of energy for everything. So your driving style, the features you use in your cabin, and even the conditions you drive in will influence your range. To maximise fuel economy in Hybrid mode, your Jaguar’s Predictive Energy Optimisation feature uses the gradient and speed for a specified route in your navigation system to intelligently switch between the electric motor and engine.
HOW LONG IS THE BATTERY WARRANTY?
Jaguar electric hybrid batteries are covered for up to 6 years or 60,000 miles – whichever comes first.
